SKD Adventure Team

The aim of the Sea Kayak Design Adventure Team is to promote adventures by sea-kayak, supporting the organization of sea kayak expeditions and trips which are of national or international importance. Exploration by sea-kayak needs to be very well organized logistically, and participants must be perfectly prepared, as well as giving great attention to all safety aspects. Only an extremely united and well-prepared team - especially from a psychological point of view - can navigate over unknown and difficult waters, often in hostile environments; and the right instruments and tools are a must. Here at Sea Kayak Design, we created the SKD Adventure team in order to test our kayaks under difficult, sometimes even dire, conditions, designing products which are always reliable and which have terrific performance. The passion that daily inspires us to design products that get better all the time obviously leads us to support all those people who use sea-kayaks professionally with courage and great spirit of adventure.
